TIMELY OPERATIONS. Operations shall be commenced within ninety (90) days following the date upon which the last applicable election may be made. If no operations are begun within such time period, the effect shall be as if the proposal had not been made. Operations shall be deemed to have commenced (a) on the date the contract for a new platform is let, if the notice indicated the need for such platform; or (b) on the date rigging-up operations are commenced on an existing platform.

TIMELY OPERATIONS. Except as provided below, drilling operations on a Development Well shall be commenced within one hundred twenty (120) days after the end of the period for the approval of the Development Well. If the Operator, except for an occurrence of Force Majeure, does not commence drilling operations on the Development Well within that one hundred twenty (120) day period, the approved Development Well proposal shall be deemed withdrawn, with the effect as if the Development Well had never been proposed and approved. If a Party submits an identical Development Well proposal (except for any necessary modifications resulting from a change in the drilling rig to be utilized by the Operator) within sixty (60) days after the deemed withdrawal of the approved original Development Well proposal and if that identical Development Well proposal is approved and if the Operator is a Participating Party in the identical Development Well proposal, the Operator shall commence drilling operations on that well within ninety (90) days after the end of the response period for that proposal. If the Operator, except for an occurrence of Force Majeure (excluding the inability to secure materials or a drilling rig), fails to commence drilling operations on the identical Development Well within that ninety (90) day period, the approved identical Development Well proposal shall be deemed withdrawn, with the effect as if the identical Development Well proposal had never been proposed and approved, and the Non-Operating Parties may then select a substitute Operator under Article 4.2.2 (Substitute Operator if Operator Fails to Commence Drilling Operations). Within sixty (60) days of the selection of the substitute Operator, the substitute Operator shall propose the drilling of an identical Development Well (except for any necessary modifications resulting from a change in the drilling rig to be utilized by the substitute Operator), and it shall commence drilling operations on that well within ninety (90) days after the end of the period for the approval of that Well. TIMELY OPERATIONS. Ridgewood understands that the [Redacted] Lease is beyond its primary term and is subject to a Suspension of Operations (“SOO”) granted by the MMS. Said SOO expires November 30, 2008 and LLOG shall attempt to get an extension of said SOO through December 2008. LLOG will use the Noble Xxxxxx Xxxxxx rig to drill the ITW as soon as such rig is finished with its operations on another LLOG owned block. LLOG shall not be liable to Ridgewood or suffer any penalties for failure to spud the ITW before the expiration of the SOO (or any extensions thereof). Notwithstanding anything contained herein to the contrary, should LLOG not spud the ITW prior to the expiration of the SOO (or any extensions thereof), all commitments and obligations will herein will cease and Ridgewood will reassign all of its interest to LLOG and LLOG will refund to Ridgewood all Sunk Land Costs previously paid by Ridgewood to LLOG.
TIMELY OPERATIONS. LLOG will diligently and timely move forward in securing a rig(s) necessary to drill the Prospects as soon as possible. LLOG commits to Ridgewood to spud the first Prospect on or before February 1, 2007. LLOG further commits to Ridgewood to having commenced operations on each of the six (6) Prospects by December 31, 2007, subject only to rig availability and obtaining the required permits. However, LLOG's commitment to drill and evaluate drill and evaluate West Delta 67 is contingent of the results of the ITW on the adjacent West Delta Block 68. The Parties will confer immediately upon obtaining the results of the West Delta Block 68 ITW to make that determination. LLOG shall not be liable to Ridgewood or sufer any penalties for failure to spud any Prospect after December 31, 2007.

If no operations are begun within such time period, the effect shall be as if the proposal had not been made. Operations shall be deemed to have commenced (a) on the date design or material procurement commences or the contract for a Platform and/or Facilities is let, if the notice involved construction of a Platform or Facilities; or (b) on the date that charges begin accruing according to the terms of the drilling contract.

If the Operator, except for an occurrence of Force Majeure, does not commence drilling operations on the Development Well within that __________ (___) day period, the approved Development Well proposal shall be deemed withdrawn, with the effect as if the Development Well had never been proposed and approved.
TIMELY OPERATIONS. Development Operations shall be commenced within one hundred twenty (120) days following the date upon which the last applicable election may be made; however, the one hundred twenty (120) day period shall automatically be extended for an additional period, not to exceed sixty (60) days, as may be necessary, in order to obtain all applicable required regulatory permits so long as applications for such required permits were properly filed within thirty (30) days after the last applicable election date. If no operations are commenced within such time period, the effect shall be as if the proposal had not been made. Operations shall be deemed to have commenced: (a) on the date the contract for a new Platform is let, if the notice indicated a need for such Platform, or (b) on the date the rig charges begin according to the terms of the drilling contract. For all other Development Operations, Development Operations shall be deemed to have commenced on the day charges are incurred pursuant to an approved AFE.

TIMELY OPERATIONS. LLOG will diligently and timely move forward in securing a rig necessary to drill the ITW as soon as possible. LLOG is committed to having commenced operations by April 30, 2008, subject to rig availability and obtaining the required permits. LLOG shall not be liable to Ridgewood or suffer any penalties for failure to spud the ITW by April 30, 2008. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, should LLOG not spud the ITW by April 30, 2008, Ridgewood shall have the sole option to elect to terminate this Agreement and its participation commitment hereunder ipso facto. If Ridgewood so elects to terminate this Agreement, it shall not be liable to LLOG or suffer any penalties thereto for such termination, and all commitments and obligations will cease upon such notice to terminate. Upon such termination, any assignments of interest into Ridgewood will be reassigned to LLOG and any and all Sunk Land Costs paid by Ridgewood to LLOG will be refunded back to Ridgewood via wire transfer simultaneously with such reassignment of interest to LLOG.

If the Operator, except for an occurrence of Force Majeure, does not commence drilling operations on the Exploratory Well within that one hundred eighty (180) day period, the approved Exploratory Well proposal shall be deemed withdrawn, with the effect as if the Exploratory Well had never been proposed and approved. If a Party submits an identical Exploratory Well proposal (except for any necessary modifications resulting from a change in the drilling rig to be utilized by the Operator) within ninety (90) days after the deemed withdrawal of the approved original Exploratory Well proposal and if that identical Exploratory Well proposal is approved and if the Operator is a Participating Party in the identical Exploratory Well proposal, the
TIMELY OPERATIONS. A proposed Development Operation except as provided in Article 12.13 (not requiring the installation of a Production System) shall be commenced within one hundred eighty (180) days from the date upon which the last applicable Election to participate was made. Except as a result of Force Majeure (Article 25.1), if operations have not been timely commenced within one hundred eighty (180) days from the last Election date, the proposal and Elections shall be deemed withdrawn, with the effect as if the proposal and Elections had never been made. If a proposal is deemed withdrawn due to lack of timely commencement of operations, any Costs incurred during said one hundred eighty (180) day period which are attributable to the proposed operation shall still be chargeable to the Participating Parties. A Development Operation for the drilling of a Development Well shall be deemed to have commenced on the date the rig arrives on location or, if the rig is already on location, the date when actual drilling operations are begun.
