Tobacco User Premium. Effective March 1, 2014, and thereafter, Regular Full-time and Regular Part-time employees and/or covered spouses who are enrolled in the NECA Health Plan or a non- negotiated Medical Plan and who use tobacco will also pay a supplemental tobacco user premium equal to 10% of that Medical Plan’s monthly premium cost for single coverage.

Tobacco User Premium. Effective 1/1/2012 employees and/or covered spouses who use tobacco shall pay a supplemental tobacco user premium equal to 10% of the Medical Plan’s monthly premium or premium equivalent cost of single coverage. NOTE: The Company currently sponsors a tobacco cessation program at no cost to the employee. Additional information can be found on the Frontier Benefits Center website.

  • Night Shift Premium Any employee who is required to work on any day when the majority of their working hours fall between 10.00 p.m. and 5.00 a.m., or who starts their shift prior to 5.00 a.m., shall be paid a premium, in addition to their regular, hourly rate, of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour for all hours worked on the shift. Shift premium pay shall not be added to an employee’s hourly rate for the purpose of computing overtime. This clause shall not result in duplication of premiums.

  • Bilingual Premium The appointing authority may require a qualified employee to perform bilingual duties in positions which have been identified and designated as requiring such bilingual skills. In order to ensure an adequate level of bilingual proficiency, the Director, Department of Human Resources may require periodic evaluation of incumbents receiving bilingual premium.

  • Training Premium Qualified Operators selected by the Employer to train new Operators shall be paid a training premium of 40¢ per hour while engaged in training work.

  • Overtime Premium Pay Time and one-half (1 1/2) the employee's straight time rate of pay shall be paid for all hours actually worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one workweek.

  • TOBACCO FREE CAMPUS All Orange County operations under the Board of County Commissioners shall be tobacco free. This policy shall apply to parking lots, parks, break areas and worksites. It is also applicable to Contractors and their personnel during contract performance on County owned property. Tobacco is defined as tobacco products including, but not limited to, cigars, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, pipes, chewing tobacco and snuff. Failure to abide by this policy may result in civil penalties levied under Chapter 386, Florida Statutes and/or contract enforcement remedies.
