Traffic Control Officers. The quantity to be paid for traffic control officers as specified in 102-7(1) through (5) will be at the Contract unit price per hour (4 hour minimum) for the actual number of officers certified to be on the project site, including any law enforcement vehicles and all other direct and indirect costs. Payment will be made only for those traffic control officers specified in the Plans and authorized by the Engineer.
Traffic Control Officers. An Employee who is determined by DTP to be employed as a Traffic Control Officer (TCO) will be entitled to additional terms and conditions contained in this clause. For the purpose of this clause, a TCO is employed to perform duties in the DTP Transport Operations Centre (TOC). A TCO performs shift work in accordance with clause 43.1 (Shift Work) of Section I of this Agreement. The primary function of a TCO is to provide professional independent judgement in the monitoring and operation of DTP's Traffic Management systems including investigations of traffic alarms and reports from the public and stakeholders, ensuring all incidents and traffic disruptions are effectively managed. A TCO will be eligible receive the following entitlements additional to this Agreement: An Employee who is required, with less than 48 hours’ notice, to change from day shift or day work to an afternoon or night shift must be paid the ordinary rate of pay for the day shift or day work not worked in addition to payment for the shift worked. Where employees have agreed to exchange shifts this allowance shall not apply. To avoid doubt, the shift not worked does not count towards the employeesordinary hours of work.
Traffic Control Officers. The stadium operator shall develop as part of a stadium Transportation Management Plan (TMP), a strategy for coordinating with representatives of SFMTA and the SF Police Department for deploying traffic control officers in the Project vicinity to increase efficiency of pre- and post- event traffic, similar to what would be in place for football game days.   • Management and Control of the Company The Manager shall direct, manage and control the business of the Company to the best of such Manager’s ability and shall have full and complete authority, power and discretion to make any and all decisions and to do any and all things which the Manager shall deem to be reasonably required in light of the Company’s business and objectives. (1) No Member except one who shall also be a Manager may participate in or have any control over the Company business or have any authority or right to act for or bind the Company. The Member hereby consents to the exercise by the Manager of the powers respectively conferred on it by this Agreement. (2) The Manager may, if appropriate, establish, if Company funds are available, reserves for working capital and for payment of taxes, insurance, debt service, repairs, replacements or renewals, or other costs and expenses incident to the operation of the Company and the property of the Company and for such other purposes as the Manager may determine and thereafter shall maintain such reserves in such amounts as the Manager deems appropriate under the circumstances to the extent that any such reserves are not in conflict with any other provisions of this Agreement regarding any required disbursements.

  • Traffic Control The Surveyor shall control traffic in and near surveying operations adequately to comply with provisions of the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI which can be found on the State’s internet site. In the event field crew personnel must divert traffic or close traveled lanes, a Traffic Control Plan based upon principles outlined in the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI shall be prepared by the Surveyor and approved by the State prior to commencement of field work. A copy of the approved plan shall be in the possession of field crew personnel on the job site at all times and shall be made available to the State’s personnel for inspection upon request.

  • DIPLOMATIC AGENTS AND CONSULAR OFFICERS Nothing in this Agreement shall affect the fiscal privileges of diplomatic agents or consular officers under the general rules of international law or under the provisions of special agreements.

  • Department Seniority Department seniority is defined as continuous length of service in calendar days within the employee’s department and where applicable, shall be used for internal department processes, such as vacation and schedule bids.

  • SIMPLE Individual Retirement Custodial Account (Under section 408(p) of the Internal Revenue Code) The participant named above is establishing a savings incentive match plan for employees of small employers individual retirement account (SIMPLE IRA) under sections 408(a) and 408(p) to provide for his or her retirement and for the support of his or her beneficiaries after death. The custodian named above has given the participant the disclosure statement required by Regulations section 1.408-6. The participant and the custodian make the following agreement:

  • Salary Administration Section 1. Salary eligibility date is defined as the date an employee is eligible for an annual performance pay increase. The salary eligibility date is computed from the date of hire. Employees shall be eligible for annual performance pay increases on the employees' salary eligibility date provided the employee is not at the top step of the salary range of the employees' classification. The employee may be denied the annual performance pay increase if there has been a serious performance or attendance problem. Denials are subject to review within six (6) months. Denials may be grieved under the provisions of Article 51. Section 2. Any employee requiring an emergency draw shall be authorized once during the term of this Agreement to make such a draw without explanation. Additional draws may be requested in accord with existing policy and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
