Training for New Employees. The Employer shall ensure that each new employee receives a minimum of two (2) consecutive days' practical training with an experienced qualified flag person. This training shall commence on date of hire and be with pay.

(a) The Employer shall ensure that each new newly certified employee receives a minimum of two (2) consecutive days' days practical training with an experienced qualified flag person. This training shall commence on date of hire their first scheduled work day and shall be with pay. (b) When training, the Employer shall ensure the trainer is immediately beside the trainee at all times.

This training shall commence on date of hire and be with pay. The recommendation of the "experienced team" as to the competence of the new employee will be taken into consideration by the Employer.
