Common use of Training on New Equipment Clause in Contracts

Training on New Equipment. Where new equipment, related procedures and/or skills are introduced the employee shall be granted training time with a qualified instructor. The duration of training time shall be determined by the complexity of machine operation. During the training time the employee shall not be expected to fulfil his regular duties. A qualified substitute shall perform the regular employee's duties during the training time when necessary to do so.
