Common use of Transfer of Consumers Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Consumers. a. If MART has a continuing responsibility to provide transportation for consumers, MART shall promptly take all reasonable steps necessary to provide alternate services for such consumers or remove them from services maintained by the Transportation Provider there under. The Transportation Provider shall use its best efforts to provide for the health and safety of such consumers for a reasonable period of time, while MART arranges for their transfer and shall cooperate fully with MART efforts to transfer consumers.
