Transport Equipment Clause Samples
The 'Transport Equipment' clause defines the responsibilities and requirements related to the vehicles, containers, or other apparatus used to move goods under a contract. It typically specifies the standards that the equipment must meet, who is responsible for providing and maintaining it, and any inspection or compliance obligations. For example, it may require that trucks used for delivery are properly licensed and maintained, or that containers are suitable for the type of cargo being shipped. This clause ensures that the transport equipment used is safe, appropriate, and compliant with relevant regulations, thereby minimizing the risk of damage, delays, or legal issues during transportation.
