Common use of Trip or Travel Clause in Contracts

Trip or Travel. Any specific period of time of 182 days or less (or 365 days maximum, subject to Insurer’s approval) that insureds spend outside their province of residence. For Trip Cancellation coverage, the term “trip” or “travel” also applies to a trip taken within the insured’s province of residence. Vehicle: A car, motorcycle, motor home or van with a maximum load capacity of 1,000 kilograms.
