Truck Equipment. The Company agrees that its trucks shall be equipped as follows: (a) Except as qualified herein, all trucks must be equipped with: 1. Bulkhead screens (van type units only). 2. Fire Extinguisher. 3. First Aid Kit. 4. Road Safety Devices, including warning cones, flags, stop signs and amber warning lights (note that amber warning lights will be provided only subject to regulatory approval). 5. Chock Blocks (for aerial ladder vehicles only). 6. Manhole lifter.
Truck Equipment. The Company agrees that its trucks shall be equipped as follows:
Truck Equipment. All trucks shall be equipped as required by law. All trucks purchased after the ratification date of this Agreement shall be equipped with heaters, defrosters, fire extinguishers, flares, reflectors, safety brakes and first-aid kits. All equipment purchased for all runs after the signing of this Agreement shall be equipped with power steering and air conditioning. Air conditioning for Richmond, Oakland and San Francisco shall not apply. The driver will first attempt to call the Company in the event of a breakdown, for instructions. If no one is available, the driver shall proceed to one of the maintenance stations, posted by the Company, for all outlying towns where the Company delivers in order that the driver shall have available proper maintenance facilities for their equipment in the event of emergency breakdowns.

  • Equipment The Fund shall obtain and maintain at its own cost and expense all equipment and services, including but not limited to communications services, necessary for it to utilize the Software and obtain access to the System, and Custodian shall not be responsible for the reliability or availability of any such equipment or services.

  • Fixtures and Equipment Each of the Company and its Subsidiaries (as applicable) has good title to, or a valid leasehold interest in, the tangible personal property, equipment, improvements, fixtures, and other personal property and appurtenances that are used by the Company or its Subsidiary in connection with the conduct of its business (the “Fixtures and Equipment”). The Fixtures and Equipment are structurally sound, are in good operating condition and repair, are adequate for the uses to which they are being put, are not in need of maintenance or repairs except for ordinary, routine maintenance and repairs and are sufficient for the conduct of the Company’s and/or its Subsidiaries’ businesses (as applicable) in the manner as conducted prior to the Closing. Each of the Company and its Subsidiaries owns all of its Fixtures and Equipment free and clear of all Liens except for (a) liens for current taxes not yet due and (b) zoning laws and other land use restrictions that do not impair the present or anticipated use of the property subject thereto.

  • Stored equipment We accept no responsibility for any stored equipment or other property brought on to or left at the premises, and all liability for loss or damage is hereby excluded. All equipment and other property (other than stored equipment) must be removed at the end of each hiring or we will charge fees each day or part of a day at the hire fee per hiring until the same is removed. We may, in our discretion, dispose of any items referred to below by sale or otherwise on such terms and conditions as we think fit, and charge you any costs we incur in storing and selling or otherwise disposing of the same, in any of the following circumstances: (i) your failure either to pay any charges in respect of stored equipment due and payable or to remove the same within seven days after the agreed storage period has ended (ii) your failure to dispose of any property brought on to the premises for the purposes of the hiring.

  • Supplies and Equipment The Union and employees will not use state-purchased supplies or equipment to conduct union business or representational activities. This does not preclude the use of the telephone for representational activities if there is no cost to the Employer, the call is brief in duration and it does not disrupt or distract from the Employer’s business.
