Types of cooperation. The parties indicate their willingness to cooperate in the promotion of both educational and research activities. Under this MoU the types of cooperation may include: - Joint research projects and common scientific initiatives, such as seminars, lectures etc..; - Reciprocal exchange of academic and administrative staff; - Exchange of publications, reports and other academic information; - Exchange of students; - Use of research equipment and free access to the facilities of either institution; - Joint academic programmes (e.g. double degree programmes); - Short-term study abroad for students; - Other activities as mutually agreed.
Types of cooperation. There are two types of administrative cooperation: • cooperation effected by the pooling of certain resources, notably staff, in the "joint services" of the two Committees; and • cooperation in certain areas in which the services concerned are autonomous.
Types of cooperation. Cooperation between the parties involve one, some or all of the following:
1. Exchange of information and publications including exchange between the parties’ libraries.
2. Exchange of Academic and Research Staff to take part in courses offered by the parties.
3. Exchange of students from both parties.
4. Development of and/or participation in seminars, colloquia or symposia.
5. Development of joint research studies.
6. Development of joint syllabuses and course programs.
7. Access to specific equipment and material.
8. Short-term visits.
9. Promotion of graduate and post-graduate courses.
10. Carrying out of cooperation activities agreed between the parties.
Types of cooperation. Both Parties agree that the authorities in charge of nuclear power safety and emergency preparedness and response shall carry out exchanges and cooperation on nuclear power safety as follows:
1. Take turns holding bilateral meetings at least once a year.
2. Promote personnel visits, and hold conferences and other exchange activities.
3. In cases where a significant event or accident occurs at a nuclear power plant, the Parties shall notify each other, exchange information, make inquiries and disclose information to the public.
4. Enhance other types of cooperation to improve on nuclear power safety as agreed upon by both Parties.
Types of cooperation. In order to achieve mutually agreed objectives in the areas of cooperation listed in Article I, Paragraph 1 of this Agreement, the United States of America may provide the following types of assistance to Georgia:
a. Provision or loan of material and equipment;
b. Classroom and on-site training for appropriate officials of the Government of Georgia;
c. Provision of experts to assist Georgia in any area of agreed cooperation;
d. Evaluation and improvement of systems, programs, and regulations;
e. Promotion of bilateral and multilateral technical and policy level discussions;
f. Support for defense and military contacts, and other cooperative military activities;
g. Such other types of assistance as may be agreed in writing by the Parties.

Recognizing the importance of collaboration and the contributions to society made by institutions of higher education, the parties hereby express their interest in promoting mutually beneficial academic and scientific exchange between the faculties and students of the two institutions. Through this MOU, both parties agree to endeavor to promote such activities including, but not limited to, the following: Discussions of potential collaborative research; Opportunities for faculty development and exchange; Opportunities for student development and exchange; Exchange of academic publications and reports; Sharing of experiences in innovative teaching methods and course design; and Organization of joint symposia, workshops, and conferences. This MOU is a statement of intent and does not create any legally binding obligations between the parties, nor does it place any financial obligations or supplementary funding commitments on either party. Specific activities that the parties desire to undertake require separate written agreements that detail the terms, conditions, and commitment of resources (financial or otherwise) required of each party in connection with the specific activity.

Through this Memorandum of Understanding, both parties affirm the value of international collaboration and agree to endeavor to promote academic and scientific activities including, but not limited to, the following: • Joint research projects in fields of mutual interests; • Exchange of academic publications and reports; • Sharing of experiences in innovative teaching methods and course design; • Organization of joint symposia, workshops, and conferences; • Opportunities for faculty development and exchange; • Opportunities for student exchange; and Comment [SS1]: These can be revised as necessary. • Opportunities for exchange of visiting research scholars. This Memorandum of Understanding places no financial obligations or supplementary funding commitments on either party. Specific activities will be established and defined through separate written agreements that detail the terms, conditions, and commitment of resources (financial or otherwise) required of each party in connection with the specific activity.

b. Internships and professional practices.
c. Graduation projects in all modalities (megaprojects, thesis, graduation works)
d. Exchange of teaching and research staff.
