Common use of Unclaimed Moneys Clause in Contracts

Unclaimed Moneys. Anything contained herein to the contrary notwithstanding, any moneys held by the Fiscal Agent for the payment and discharge of the principal of, and the interest and any premium on, the Bond which remains unclaimed for two (2) years after the date when the payment of such principal, interest and premium have become payable, if such moneys were held by the Fiscal Agent at such date, shall be paid by the Fiscal Agent to the City as its absolute property free from any trust, and the Fiscal Agent shall thereupon be released and discharged with respect thereto and the Owner of such Bond shall look only to the City for the payment of the principal of, and interest and any premium on, the Bond.
