Underwater Radiated Noise Sample Clauses

Underwater Radiated Noise. The Underwater Radiated Noise Survey shall be performed by the Contractor/Noise Control Consultant using the procedures and methods of ANSI/ASA S12.64, “Quantities and Procedures for Description and Measurement of Underwater Sound from Ships”, Part 1, General Requirements, Grade B. The Contractor shall prepare an Underwater Radiated Noise Survey Report (DI- 053-04). SES Sea Acceptance Trials (SAT) - The SES SAT and the Deep Sea Acceptance Trials (DSAT) shall be performed by the Contractor/SES SSV to verify all SES systems and equipment as installed are fully functional at sea and serve as a successful demonstration of the SES. The SES SAT shall verify correct functioning of the various SES systems/equipment and the various external sensors or systems to ensure integrated systems (i.e. mapping). It shall also verify that the system interfaces and peripherals are functional. The SES SAT shall consist of a verification of correct interfacing of external sensors, a calibration of external sensor off-sets and time delays, a test survey, and assessment of the data from the test survey. The SAT shall include, but not be limited to, calibration, depth accuracy, contour repeatability, beam repeatability, target identification, interference, and bottom tracking tests. The SAT shall duplicate aspects of the HAT where appropriate to demonstrate all of the hardware and software operations provided are operational. Limitations on system performance as a function of water depth, vessel speed, and sea state shall be established prior to initiation of each individual event. The SES DSAT shall be performed to verify proper system operation and conformance during a sea trial conducted from a ship without prior defined limitations. The DSAT shall represent a complete and final operational verification of all SES systems and equipment. The DSAT shall include all deep water tests of all sub-systems as required, and shall duplicate aspects of the SES SAT, where appropriate. The DSAT shall include any procedures if revised or added during the execution of the SES SAT. The SES SAT and DSAT may be conducted concurrently or as separate trials. SES and sensors that transmit data to the Scientific Computer System (SCS) shall be demonstrated to verify the capability of operating, obtaining signal inputs, and performing required functions without the use of SCS. NMEA 0183 shall be the output data format for all systems and equipment that transmit data to the SCS. Acceptance Trials (AT) ...

  • Unbundled Loop Concentration (ULC) System 2.5.1 BellSouth will provide to <<customer_name>> Unbundled Loop Concentration (ULC). Loop concentration systems in the central office concentrate the signals transmitted over local loops onto a digital loop carrier system. The concentration device is placed inside a BellSouth central office. BellSouth will offer ULC with a TR008 interface or a TR303 interface.

  • Mileage Measurement Where required, the mileage measurement for LIS rate elements is determined in the same manner as the mileage measurement for V&H methodology as outlined in NECA Tariff No. 4.

  • Temperature Measurement Temperature will be measured by the nearest automatic Melbourne Bureau of Meteorology Monitoring Station for example (but not limited to): Melbourne, Moorabbin, Dunns Hill, Melbourne Airport, Frankston, and Point Xxxxxx. At the commencement of each project, the onsite management and employee representatives shall agree which is to be the applicable automatic weather monitoring station.

  • Unbundled Sub-Loop Concentration System (USLC 2.9.1 Where facilities permit and where necessary to comply with an effective Commission order, BellSouth will provide <<customer_name>> with the ability to concentrate its sub-loops onto multiple DS1s back to the BellSouth Central Office. The DS1s will then be terminated into <<customer_name>>’s collocation space. TR-008 and TR303 interface standards are available.

  • Signaling Link Transport 9.2.1 Signaling Link Transport is a set of two or four dedicated 56 kbps transmission paths between Global Connection-designated Signaling Points of Interconnection that provide appropriate physical diversity.

  • Unbundled Loop Concentration 2.8.5.1 Upon the Effective Date of this Amendment, the Unbundled Loop Concentration (ULC) element will no longer be offered by BellSouth and no new orders for ULC will be accepted. Any existing ULCs that were provisioned prior to the Effective Date of this Amendment will be grandfathered at the rates set forth in the Parties’ interconnection agreement that was in effect immediately prior to this Amendment and may remain connected, maintained and repaired according to BellSouth’s TR73600 until such time as they are disconnected by MyLineToo, or BellSouth provides ninety (90) calendar days notice that such ULC must be terminated.

  • Heavy Blocks An employee shall not be required to lift a building block in excess of 20 kg in weight unless such employee is provided with a mechanical aid or with an assisting employee; provided that an employee shall not to manually lift any building block in excess of 20 kg weight to a height of more than 4 feet (1.2m) above the working platform.

Company may, in its sole discretion, perform tests in addition to the fifth year test and Company shall pay the cost of such tests. If any of the revenue meters or metering equipment is found to be inaccurate at any time, as determined by testing in accordance with this Section 10.2 (Meter Testing), Company shall promptly cause such equipment to be made accurate, and the period of inaccuracy, as well as an estimate for correct meter readings, shall be determined in accordance with Section 10.3 (Corrections).
