Union and Management Positions. Any Deck Officer, who maintains good standing, and has established seniority when elected or appointed to a full-time Union position, or when transferred to a position in management, shall retain his/her seniority status throughout his/her term, or terms, of office, or throughout his/her employment in management. When returning to the fleet and remaining in good standing with the Union, a Deck Officer will have the absolute right to exercise a bump by seniority in selecting an assignment.
