Common use of Union Management Committees Clause in Contracts

Union Management Committees. ‌ There shall be established a Union/Management committee composed of members equal in number. This committee may call upon additional persons for technical information or advice. The Committee shall meet at the call of either party at a mutually agreeable time and place. Employees shall not suffer any loss of basic pay for time spent on this committee. The Committee shall not have the power to bind either the Union or its members or the Employer to any decisions or conclusions reached in their discussions. The Committee shall have the power to make recommendations to the Union and the Employer.
