VACANCIES/PROMOTIONS. TRANSFERS A-1. Whenever vacancies arise or are anticipated during the school year, they shall be posted in the central office of each school building. A-2. Whenever vacancies arise or are anticipated between the end of one school year and the beginning of the next, they shall be posted with a notice to all employees with their paychecks. B. Vacancies will be filled on the basis of qualifications and ability without regard to sex, race, color or creed of the applicant. C. Requests by a teacher for transfer to a different subject area, building or position for the next school year shall be made in writing to the Superintendent at any time. The teacher will set forth the reasons for transfer, position sought and qualifications.
