A maximum of five (5) unused vacation days may be carried over to next year and must be used by December 31st of the current year. The Board, through its Business Office, shall be responsible for maintaining a written documentation of the Business Administrator's earned, used and accrued vacation days. The Business Administrator shall have the right to carry over up to ten (10) days of unused vacation time into the school year immediately following the school year in which those days were earned and accrued. Vacation days shall not be carried over for more than one (1) year.

For example, if an Administrator has twelve (12) accumulated days, the Administrator shall be paid for those days upon separation from service, assuming the accumulated days have not subsequently been used as vacation days. Those Administrators with ten (10) or fewer unused accumulated vacation days as of June 20, 2006, shall be paid for up to ten (10) days of unused and accumulated vacation leave upon separation of service. Administrators hired July 1, 2006 and thereafter shall be paid for up to ten (10) days of unused and accumulated vacation leave at the time of separation of service. Payment for unused vacation days shall be at the Administrator's daily rate which will be computed at 1/240th of the Administrator's base annual salary. D. The following holidays shall not be charged against the Administrator's vacation accruals. When any of these days occurs on a weekend day, the Administrator will have the previous Friday or subsequent Monday, at the discretion of the Superintendent, as the holiday: Independence Day (July 4th) New Year's Day Labor Day Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx.   • Vacations and Holidays The Executive will be entitled to four weeks paid vacation each Fiscal Year in accordance with the vacation policies of the Employer in effect for its executive officers from time to time. Vacation must be taken by the Executive at such time or times as approved by the Chairman of the Board or Chief Executive Officer. The Executive will also be entitled to the paid holidays set forth in the Employer's policies. Vacation days and holidays during any Fiscal Year that are not used by the Executive during such Fiscal Year may not be used in any subsequent Fiscal Year.

Requests for the holiday off must be made prior to the work schedule being posted for that period. 12.04 In order to qualify for pay for a holiday, an employee shall complete her full shift on each of the scheduled working days immediately preceding and following the holiday concerned unless excused by the Employer or the employee was absent due to: (a) approved sick leave; (b) vacation granted by the Employer; (c) the employee's regular scheduled day off; (d) a paid leave of absence provided the employee is not otherwise compensated for the holiday. (a) Where a holiday falls on an employee's scheduled day off, an additional day off with pay will be scheduled at a mutually acceptable time. (b) Where a holiday falls during an employee's scheduled vacation period, her vacation shall be extended by one (1) day unless the employee and the Employer agree to schedule a different day off with pay. 12.06 A tour that begins or ends during the twenty-four (24) hour period of the above holidays, where the majority of hours worked falls within the holiday, shall be deemed to be work performed on the holiday for the full period of the tour.
