Vaccines for Children. DPHE Responsibilities 4.2.1.1.2.1. DPHE will coordinate with HCPF on the development of informational materials affecting Medicaid populations. 4.2.1.1.2.2. DPHE shall maintain and annually update protocols, guidelines, procedures and forms for use in the VFC program. 4.2.1.1.2.3. HCPF shall provide DPHE with the program data necessary to comply with all federal and state reporting requirements necessary to administer the program. 4.2.1.1.3.2. HCPF shall provide DPHE a quarterly list of Medicaid enrolled providers by the fifteenth (15) Business Day of the last month in each state designated fiscal quarter. 4.2.1.1.3.2.1. Provider data shall include provider name, clinic/facility name, location address, telephone and fax number. 4.2.1.1.3.2.2. HCPF shall co-manage the joint federal technical assistance grant known as Community of Practice (CoP) to increase immunization rates among children and pregnant women enrolled in Medicaid. 4.2.1.1.3.2.2.1. As part of the CoP grant, HCPF shall provide three files (Patients, Services and Providers) to DPHE as requested not more than twice annually). Vaccines for Children. Through the VFC program, the Federal and State governments purchase, and make available at no cost, vaccines for AHCCCS children under age 19. A provider may impose a charge for the administration of a qualified pediatric vaccine as stated in 1928(c)(20)(C)(ii) of the Act. Contractors are required to adopt the payment rates in the Arizona Medicaid State plan, as described on Page 66b, as a minimum fee schedule for VFC providers.

Vaccines for Children. Program The CDC funded immunization program for children is housed with DPHSS’s Bureau of Communicable Disease Control (BCDC) and collaborates Extensively with Title V on issues related to immunization access and vaccine preventable illness. This program the MCH program provides networking, collaboration, and linkage activities to children in Guam. The MCH funds the nurses to provide immunization services to immunize the children in the Central Public Health Walk-In clinics, Child Health clinics, and Guam Immunization Program and WIC Weekly immunization outreaches. Newborn Metabolic Screening Guam Memorial Hospital Laboratory administers newborn screening to Guam births occurring at the public hospital and collaborates with the Title V program on follow- up for high-risk infant tracking. The MCH program oversees the program, provides funding for the Medical Advisor to manage the children that were identified confirmed positive NBS testing, and provides needed referral process to the children in that program. Project LAUNCH (Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children’s Health) Project LAUNCH is co-located with Title V in BFHNS. Project LAUNCH collaborates and coordinates with Title V to xxxxxx the healthy development and wellness of children from birth to eight years of age. Project LAUNCH has been in the same bureau with the MCH program, and that partnership has been improving and expanding the awareness of the program and their services. MCH program has provided the project more partnerships with other health and early childhood programs, health providers, behavioral health and wellness programs. The DPHSS Division of Public Welfare administers Child Care Development Block Grant.
