Common use of Validity of the Contract Clause in Contracts

Validity of the Contract. a) The Contract shall normally remain valid for a period of 12 months unless specifically mentioned in the documents, reckoned from the date of its award. The job can therefore, be got done any time during the tenure of the contract. Normally Notice of 7 days shall be given for starting the job but the Contractor should be able to mobilize within 24 hours, if the necessity so arises. b) The contract can be extended at the same rates, terms & conditions for a period of Three Months at the sole discretion of NFL.
