Vice President or Designee. If the grievance is not resolved at Step 1, the Union may move the grievance to Step 2 by filing the written grievance, including a copy of the Step 1 decision, with Human Resource Services, within fourteen (14) days of the Union’s receipt of the Step 1 decision. The Vice President or designee will meet in person or confer by telephone with a union xxxxxxx or union staff representative and the grievant within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the appeal, and will respond in writing to the Union within fourteen (14) days after the meeting.

Vice President or Designee. If the grievance is not settled at Step 1, and the employee and or the Union wishes to appeal the grievance at Step 2 of the grievance procedure, it shall be submitted in writing, within ten (10) business days after receipt of the grievance, designated as a “grievance,” to the Vice-President or Designee.   • Vice President In the absence of the President or in the event of the President’s inability to act, the Vice President, if any (or in the event there be more than one Vice President, the Vice Presidents in the order designated by the Directors, or in the absence of any designation, then in the order of their election), shall perform the duties of the President, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the President.
