Video on Demand. (A) Within one hundred twenty (120) days of written demand by the City, Grantee shall provide the City (or its Designated Access Provider) five (5) hours of Video On Demand (“VOD”) capacity on Grantee’s Cable System VOD platform for PEG Access programming, in accordance with the provisions of this Section 9.5 and Grantee's VOD License Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit C. For purposes of this Franchise, the PEG Access programming that City or its Designated Access Provider submits to Grantee’s VOD platform shall be referred to as “PEG VOD Programming.” (B) The City shall be responsible for acquiring, at its cost, all equipment necessary to produce and deliver the PEG VOD Programming in the format required for Grantee’s VOD servers, including the cost of any necessary return line upgrades, and the transmission equipment needed to transmit it to Grantee in the format required; provided however that such requirements shall be no different that imposed upon other providers of video on demand programming content available on Grantee’s Cable System. (C) The City and/or a Designated Access Provider shall be responsible for uploading PEG VOD Programming to the VOD server pursuant to the procedures required by Grantee’s VOD system, this Section 9.5, and the terms of Exhibit C and imposed upon all other video on demand content providers on the Cable System. (1) Length of programs to be placed by City on Grantee’s VOD server shall not exceed 60 minutes without the written approval of Grantee, which shall not be unreasonably withheld; (2) All City (or Designated Access Provider) PEG VOD Programming must have an expiration date embedded in its file for no longer than 30 days from placement date or for a date mutually agreed upon by City and Grantee as well as all other information required by Grantee. (3) Upon request, Grantee shall provide monthly reports to the City showing the number of views of VOD programming provided by City. (4) Up to two (2) additional VOD hours may be requested by City each time the then current level of PEG VOD Programming has been viewed at least 1,200 times by customers eligible to view VOD programming each month over 6 consecutive months, provided each view must be at least one-half of the length of the program or as otherwise required by Grantee but in no event shall the length of view of each program be required to exceed one-half of the length of the program. Video on Demand. The number of simultaneous video on demand channels shall be increased by a minimum of 12 outputs when the daily requests for movies on demand exceed the installed number of outputs by 12 or more, on 90 days out of a consecutive period of 365 days. Exhibit "A" Technical Requirements The number of guests denied immediate access to the system, exceeds two percent (2%) of the available rooms on 30 days within a consecutive period of 90 days. Video on Demand. BTCHAMPLAIN BROADBAND will carry Video on Demand ("VOD") content if it can be delivered via its third party VOD provider; provided, however, each Burlington AMO shall be responsible to the VOD provider for content licensing and all associated format requirements and costs for gaining VOD service. BTCHAMPLAIN BROADBAND will make third party VOD provider contact information available to each Burlington AMO.
Video on Demand. Coordinate and provide local programming, at ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’s discretion, for distribution on the cable franchisee’s video-on- demand (VoD) platform. The VoD platform shall not be considered a public access resource under this Agreement. A minimum of thirteen (13) hours shall be available to Grantee at any given time for programming on cable franchisee’s VoD platform. If the MHCRC determines that the VoD hours are not being effectively used by Grantee to provide local programming, the MHCRC may reduce the hours available to Grantee on the Cable Franchisee’s VoD platform.
Video on Demand. The STBs will allow for streaming video files to mobile devices connected directly via WiFi or a home WiFi network. The files are pushed via satellite or terrestrial networks and stored on the STB. This process will require middleware integration with a push VoD agent.
Video on Demand. Franchisee will make available up to a total of twenty (20) hours of capacity on its Video On Demand (“VOD”) platform for the shared use by the PEG channels. Distribution of the available hours as between the City and the Access Corporation shall be at the discretion of the City. The Access Channel operators shall be solely responsible for uploading all such programming in the manner required by the Franchisee’s VOD intake system and for populating all menus and program descriptions. Franchisee shall be responsible for any down-conversion from HD to SD for the programming as submitted by the City or Access Corporation. PEG programs will be listed on the VOD menu in a nondiscriminatory manner to other local programming.
Video on Demand. Within one hundred twenty (120) Days of a written request from the Grantor, Grantee shall make available as part of Basic Service to all Subscribers a PEG Access Video-on Demand (PEG-VOD) Service and maintain a PEG-VOD system. The PEG- VOD system shall be connected by the Grantee such that: (a) Twenty-five (25) hours of programming per Member City of the Grantor as designated and supplied by the Grantor or its Designated Access Provider to the Grantee may be electronically transmitted and/or transferred and stored on the PEG-VOD system; and (b) A database of that programming may be efficiently searched and a program requested and viewed over the PEG-VOD system by any Subscriber in a Member City; and (c) Programming submitted for placement on the PEG-VOD system, shall be placed on and available for viewing from the PEG-VOD system within forty-eight (48) hours through Grantees best efforts, but not greater than seventy-two (72) hours of receipt of said programming. (d) The hardware and software described in Subsection (e) below, shall be in all respects of the same or better technical quality as the hardware and software utilized by Grantee in the provision of any other video on demand services offered over the Cable System, and shall be upgraded at Grantee’s cost, when new hardware or software is utilized on Grantee’s Cable System for other video on demand services. Grantee shall provide reasonable technical assistance to allow for proper use and operation when encoding hardware or software is installed and/or upgraded at Grantor’s Facilities. (e) To ensure compatibility and interoperability, the Grantee shall supply and maintain all necessary hardware and software to encode, transmit and/or transfer Government Access programming from the Grantor to the PEG-VOD system. The Grantor shall be responsible for all monitoring of any equipment provided under this Section, and notifying Grantee of any problems. Grantee shall provide all technical support and maintenance for the equipment provided to the Grantor by Grantee under this Section. After notification of any equipment problems, Grantee shall diagnose and resolve the problem within forty-eight (48) hours. Major repairs which can’t be repaired within the forty-eight (48) hour timeframe shall be completed within seven (7) Days of notice, unless, due to Force Majeure conditions, a longer time is required. “Major repairs” are those that require equipment to be specially obtained in order to facilitate the repai...
Video on Demand. If Licensee provides video on demand to Subscribers in Flagstaff, it shall: provide space on each of the servers or other devices (collectively, the devices) used to store or forward video programming for up to twenty hours of programming selected by the City, using formats and technologies comparable to that used for commercial programming; provide a means for Subscribers to select the programming comparable to that used to select commercial programming; and provide a means for the City to load and remove programming from the devices via the connections to the headend, or some comparable means.

Video on Demand. (A) Grantee shall include Access Programming on its video-on demand (“VOD”) platform. Grantee shall provide the Designated Access Providers with the VOD capacity on Grantee’s server to include a maximum of fifty (50) hours of Access Programming on ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’s VOD at any given time. The Jurisdictions shall coordinate use of such VOD capacity among the Designated Access Providers. The Jurisdictions shall pay all costs associated with the provision of Access programming on the VOD platform. (B) ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ agrees to work in good faith with the designated Access Providers to continue to provide and adjust as needed, a process agreeable to the Designated Access Providers for placing Access Programming on Grantee’s VOD, utilizing a system that enables online content uploading to an FTP site or equivalent technology. Such process will also include, but not be limited to, addressing programming technical formatting and submitting program descriptions to the EPG. The Access Providers may identify potentially offensive programming for disclaimers. Designated Access Providers are responsible for selecting the Access Programming and providing it to Grantee in an MPEG2 or other appropriate format compatible with Grantee’s equipment and system. (C) Any Access Programming placed on VOD shall be accessible by Subscribers free of charge, provided that they subscribe to the appropriate level of cable service in which access to Grantee’s VOD platform is included. (D) The Parties recognize that VOD platforms for distribution of programming may change over time. Future development may allow for the Designated Access Providers and Grantee to agree on a mutually acceptable alternative to include Access Programming on Comcast’s VOD platform and, as a result, increasing the amount of Access Programming available to Subscribers. To that end, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ agrees to engage in good faith efforts discuss alternatives to including Access Programming on any Grantee VOD platform.
