Common use of Voluntary Admission Clause in Contracts

Voluntary Admission. An employee who voluntarily notifies the Fire Chief or the Human Resources Director and requests assistance to deal with a drug or alcohol problem shall not be disciplined by the employer unless the employee refuses the opportunity for rehabilitation, fails to complete a rehabilitation program, or again tests positive for drugs or alcohol within one (1) year of completing an appropriate rehabilitation program.
