Volunteer Policies. Each family is expected to volunteer in support of the teams a minimum of 10 hours per season. Athlete attendance at fundraising events is not considered volunteering. We want your time – we’re stronger together. All families are strongly encouraged to do the volunteer work, as it fosters a greater sense of community among our team members. However, we recognize this may not be possible for a variety of personal reasons. Families who are unable to meet this commitment may “buyout” their commitment for $500 per season. Separately, athletes are expected to attend any community service activity sponsored by the organization. Failure to fulfill volunteer expectations may result in an invoice for hours not fulfilled at a rate of $50 per hour. Codes of Conduct give everyone a guide to what is expected as part of an organization, sport or spectators at related events.
