Waste or Debris Removal. The Contractor shall remove any waste or debris generated to from the demolition of the Properties and dispose of the waste or debris in a certified Michigan Department of Environmental (MDEQ) and EPA certified waste facility. Salvage material derived there from shall become the property of the Contractor, unless the material is requested by the City, and shall be disposed of by Contractor.

  • INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL Show Management reserves the right to fix the time for the installation of a booth prior to the Show opening and for its removal after the conclusion of the Show.   • Graffiti Removal Graffiti is detrimental to the health, safety and welfare of the community in that it promotes a perception in the community that the laws protecting public and private property can be disregarded with impunity. This perception fosters a sense of disrespect of the law that results in an increase in crime; degrades the community and leads to urban blight; is detrimental to property values, business opportunities and the enjoyment of life; is inconsistent with the City’s property maintenance goals and aesthetic standards; and results in additional graffiti and in other properties becoming the target of graffiti unless it is quickly removed from public and private property. Graffiti results in visual pollution and is a public nuisance. Graffiti must be abated as quickly as possible to avoid detrimental impacts on the City and County and its residents, and to prevent the further spread of graffiti.

  • Snow Removal Only the right of way will be plowed in the parking lots. Licensee is responsible for removing snow around his/her own vehicle (without causing damage or inconvenience to any other vehicles lawfully on the Premises).

  • Conduct and Removal While performing the Project, Grantee Agents must comply with applicable Contract terms, State and federal rules, regulations, HHSC’s policies, and HHSC’s requests regarding personal and professional conduct; and otherwise conduct themselves in a businesslike and professional manner. If HHSC determines in good faith that a particular Grantee Agent is not conducting himself or herself in accordance with the terms of the Contract, HHSC may provide Grantee with notice and documentation regarding its concerns.   • Obligation to Notify Owner of Existing Hazardous Materials The Contractor shall immediately notify the Owner and the Design Professional, both orally and in writing, of the presence and location of any physical evidence of, or information regarding the presence of Hazardous Materials at the Site of which it becomes aware. If the Contractor encounters Hazardous Materials on the Site the Contractor shall (i) immediately stop performance of Work or that portion of the Work affected by or affecting such Hazardous Materials; (ii) secure the contaminated area against intrusion; (iii) not disturb or remove the Hazardous Materials; (iv) not proceed, or allow any subcontractor or supplier to proceed, with any Work or other activities in the area affected by such Hazardous Materials until such materials have been properly remediated and until directed in writing to do so by the Owner; and, (v) take any other steps necessary to protect life and health and the surrounding environment. The Contractor shall be entitled to adjustment of the Contract Time and the Contract Sum pursuant to Section 5, Part 2 of these General Conditions in order to compensate for the impact of any required demolition, re-work, shutdown, delay, protection of work, disruption, and start-up resulting from the encountering of such Hazardous Materials on the Site for which the Contractor is not responsible.

  • Hazardous Waste Throughout the term of this Lease, Tenant shall not undertake or permit any Environmental Activity (as such term is hereinafter defined) other than (i) in compliance with all applicable laws and ordinances and all rules, orders and regulations, present or future, ordinary or extraordinary, foreseen or unforeseen) of any federal, state or local governmental authority (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Legal Requirements"), and (ii) in such a manner as shall keep the premises, the Building and the Land free from any lien imposed pursuant to any Legal Requirement in respect of such Environmental Activity. Tenant shall take all necessary steps to ensure that any Environmental Activity undertaken or permitted at the premises is undertaken in a manner as to provide prudent safeguards against potential risks to human health or the environment. Tenant shall notify Landlord within 24 hours of the release of any Hazardous Materials (as such term is hereinafter defined) from or at the premises which could form the basis of any claim, demand or action by any party. Landlord shall have the right, from time to time, at Tenant's expense, to conduct an environmental audit or such other examinations, tests, inspections and reviews of the premises as Landlord, in its sole discretion, shall deem necessary, appropriate or desirable and Tenant shall cooperate in the conduct of any such environmental audit, examination, test, inspection or review. If Tenant shall breach the covenants provided in this Article, then, in addition to any other rights and remedies which may be available to landlord pursuant to this Lease or otherwise at law, Landlord may require Tenant to take all actions, or to reimburse Landlord for the costs of any and all actions taken by Landlord, as are necessary, appropriate or desirable to cure such breach. for purposes of this Article, the term "Environmental Activity" means any use, storage, installation, existence, release, threatened release, discharge, generation, abatement, removal, disposal, handling or transportation from, under, into or on the leased premises of (a) any "hazardous substance" as defined in any federal statute, (b) petroleum, crude oil or any fraction thereof, natural gas or synthetic gas used for fuel, and (c) any additional substances or materials which at such time are classified or considered to be hazardous or toxic under the laws of the State of New York or any other Legal Requirements the materials described in clauses (a) through (c) being collectively referred to as "Hazardous Materials". The provisions of subparagraph (j) of Article 6 of this Lease shall be applicable to any failure by Tenant to comply with or keep or perform the provisions of this Article. The obligations of Tenant under this Article shall survive the expiration or sooner termination of the term of this Lease.
