When Your Coverage Begins When First Eligible. When you are first eligible, you and your eligible dependents may enroll by making written application to us through your employer for coverage within the first thirty-one (31) days following your eligibility date. So long as we receive your membership application within that timeframe and your membership fees are paid, your coverage begins on the first day of the month following your eligibility date. We must receive your application within the first thirty-one (31) days of your becoming eligible for coverage, or we will deny your application.
