Witnesses. At any stage of the grievance or arbitration procedure, the parties shall have the assistance of any employee(s) concerned as witnesses and any other witnesses. The Employer agrees that any written statement against any member of the Union by another member of the Union shall not be used in grievance, arbitration, or any other matter, excepting accident matters, that could be detrimental to employees or to the Union. All reasonable arrangements will be made to permit the conferring parties or the arbitrator(s) to have access to the Employer's premises to view any working conditions which may be relevant to the settlement of the grievance.
