WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY. 28.01 Unless legislation expressly prohibits maintenance of the status quo, the Board agrees to meet its obligations under the Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act, in effect on the final ratification date of the collective agreement, as the minimum standard. 28.02 The Union and the Board agree that issues involving workplace aggression or violence shall be brought to and discussed in the Labour/Management Committee, and may be referred as necessary to the Joint Health and Safety Committee. 28.03 The Board shall maintain and apply a workplace harassment procedure in accordance with its obligations pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code. 28.04 The Board agrees to involve the union in the Disability Management Program.
