Xxxxx’s leave. 22.2.1 In normal circumstances an employee is not entitled to take carer's leave where another person has taken simultaneous leave to care for the same person. 22.2.2 The employee must, if required by the Employer, establish by production of a medical certificate or statutory declaration, the illness of the person concerned and that the illness is such as to require care by another. 22.2.3 The employee must where practicable, give the Employer notice prior to the absence of the intention to take leave, the name of the person requiring care and their relationship to the employee, the reason for taking such leave and the estimated length of absence. If it is not practicable for the employee to give prior notice of absence, the employee must notify the Employer by telephone of such absence at the first opportunity on the day of the absence. 22.2.4 The same considerations in quantum of carer’s leave applicable to part time Employees may be extended to eligible casuals but on an unpaid basis
Xxxxx’s leave. Xxxxx’s leave is paid or unpaid leave taken to provide care and support to a member of immediate family or household because of:
Xxxxx’s leave a) An employee is entitled to use up to a maximum of ten days per annum (ie in any one year) of their paid personal/carer’s leave accruals as carer’s leave to provide care and support for to a member of their immediate family or household who requires special care and support because of:
Xxxxx’s leave. (1) An employee is entitled to use up to 10 days accrued personal leave each year to care for a member of his or her immediate family or a member of his or her household who is ill and requires his or her care. The employee is not entitled to take xxxxx’s leave for a particular period if another person has taken leave to care for the person for the same period. (2) For the purpose of the above, “year” shall mean the twelve calendar months between the date of engagement and the corresponding date in the following calendar year and each successive year thereafter. (3) An employee’s entitlement to paid xxxxx’s leave is conditional on the employee notifying the Company of his or her inability to attend for duty as soon as is reasonably practicable. This requirement does not apply if the employee cannot comply with the notice requirement because of circumstances beyond his or her control. (4) If required by the Company, when taking xxxxx’s leave the employee must: (a) produce a medical certificate stating that the person has or will have the illness or injury during the period of xxxxx’s leave, or (b) make a statutory declaration stating that care or support is required as a result of unexpected emergency or personal illness or injury affecting the person. (5) Each day or part of a day of carer’s leave taken in accordance with this clause 16.4 is to be deducted from the quantum of personal leave provided per year. (6) An employee is entitled to use accumulated personal leave as paid xxxxx’s leave if the employee has used the current year’s personal leave entitlement. An exception to this is where the employee has already taken 10 days carer’s leave in the current year.
Xxxxx’s leaveAn employee is entitled to use accumulated personal leave to care for members of their immediate family or household.
Xxxxx’s leave paid or unpaid leave taken by the employee to provide care or support to a member of the employee’s immediate family, or a member of the employee’s household, who requires care or support because of: (i) a personal illness, or injury, of the member; or (ii) an unexpected emergency affecting the member.
Xxxxx’s leaveAn employee other than a casual is entitled to use up to 10 days personal leave each year to care for members of his or her immediate family or household who are sick and require care and support. This entitlement is subject to the employee being responsible for the care and support of the person concerned. In normal circumstances an employee is not entitled to take carer’s leave where another person has taken leave to care for the same person.
Xxxxx’s leave. Up to a maximum of 76 hours per year of the Employee’s personal leave entitlement may be taken as paid carer’s leave.
Xxxxx’s leave. 24.5.1 An employee is entitled to use up to ten days personal leave each year to care for members of his/her immediate family or household. 24.5.2 The employee must, if required by the enterprise, establish by production of a medical certificate by a registered health practitioner or statutory declaration, the illness of the person concerned and that the illness is such as to require care by another or establish by production of a statutory declaration that the member required care because of an unexpected emergency. 24.5.3 As soon as reasonably practicable the employee will give the employer notice that the employee requires (or required) leave during the period to provide care or support to a member of the employee’s immediate family, or a member of the employee’s household, who requires (or required) care or support because of a personal illness or injury of the member or an unexpected emergency affecting the member. This provision does not apply to an employee who could not comply with it because of circumstances beyond the employee’s control. 24.5.4 An employee (including a casual employee) may take up to two days unpaid carer’s leave for each occasion in accordance with the same requirements for the entitlement to paid carer’s leave. 24.5.5 The provisions of this clause apart from paragraph 24.5.4 do not apply to casual employees.
