Yard Waste Collection Clause Samples
Yard Waste Collection. Contractor shall collect up to 15 bags per Residential Unit in the months of April and November only each year. Any Yard Waste beyond the 15 bags per Residential Unit in April and November may be collected by the Contractor as Solid Waste in the approved Containers. Contractor shall make every reasonable effort to dispose of Yard Waste in an environmentally friendly manner such as composting, chipping, or mulching.

a. Contractor will provide weekly curbside yard waste pick up from March through December. The pickup will include up to ten (10) bags or bundles per week, which shall apply throughout the year.
b. Contractor shall collect yard waste that is placed is biodegradable paper bags and/or placed in bundles that are no larger than four feet long by two feet wide. All bags and bundles must weigh less than fifty (50) pounds in order to be collected.
c. Additional yard waste collection days may be purchased in the event of natural disasters by the Village from Contractor for $_$172.00_per ton, up to a maximum of 8 collections.
Yard Waste Collection. (a) YARD WASTE, as herein defined, will be picked up once per week on the same day as the garbage and recycling from April 1st through November 30th each calendar year. All yard waste materials must be placed in “Kraft” paper bags or in ridged containers of no more than 32-gallons in capacity. Residents using ridged containers will be required to property identify those containers designated as having yard waste material. The CONTRACTOR will make available “yard waste identification labels” to the residents for the purpose of properly identifying receptacles for yard waste removal at no additional charge. The CONTRACTOR will make available carts for rent or purchase for residents seeking additional carts. Residents may rent additional 96-gallon yard waste carts through the CONTRACTOR for a charge of $4.00 per month. The Contractor will also make 96-gallon carts available for purchase for $105.00 each. In the event that cart rentals are invoiced to the residents by the Village, the cart rental shall be $2.00 per month. A minimum of one-year is required for all cart rentals.
(b) Branches and brush will also be collected and the material must be bundled and tied with string or twine (not wire). Branches must be cut into lengths of 4 feet or less, and each branch should be no larger than four (4) inches in diameter. Each bundle must not weigh more than 50 pounds. Yard waste placed in plastic bags will not be accepted.
(c) In all cases, the CONTRACTOR will comply with the State of Illinois statutes regarding the collection and disposal of yard waste
Yard Waste Collection. Contractor shall provide for collection and disposal of yard waste which is placed curbside monthly. Contractor shall provide specific dates for collection. (Collection will be as follows: Monthly, excluding February and December, with two (2) pickups in November and April.) Yard Waste is defined as tree limbs, bushes, brush trimmings and Christmas trees. Except for Christmas trees, the material must be placed in biodegradable Kraft bags, placed in an open 32 gallon container or bundled in lengths of not more than four (4) feet long that weigh less than 50 pounds. Grass clippings and leaves are excluded. Yard waste shall not be placed in mobile carts. BID ITEM NO. 4 The Contractor may opt to provide mobile refuse carts for the collection of non-recyclables. The Township estimates that there are currently 6,150 total single family and multi-family residential housing units in the Township renting mobile refuse carts. This item is not included in determining the lowest bidder, but does establish the maximum allowable mobile refuse cart rental fee per year for the term of the contract.
Yard Waste Collection. 8.1. DSI shall provide separate yard waste collection as an additional service during the months of April through November, weather permitting. DSI shall be responsible for notifying customers of the beginning and end of yard waste season.
8.2. Yard waste shall be prepared as specified by DSI and shall be collected at curbside on the same day as Trash collection.
8.3. Yard Waste may not be placed or collected in plastic bags, to comply with Minnesota Statute (M.S. 115A.931, Subd. (c) and M.S. 325E.046).
8.4. Yard waste service shall be made available on an annual subscription basis or on an on-call by the bag basis. DSI shall provide Yard Waste carts to subscription customers. Charges for yard waste services shall be in accordance with the approved rate schedule.
Yard Waste Collection. The Contractor shall provide Yard Waste collection services every other week throughout the year (subject to inclement weather) according to its schedule for Single Family Residential Recyclables Collection. Yard Waste collection and rates are described in Exhibit A. If the City and Contractor desire to replace the Yard Waste services with the collection of organics, Contractor and the City will negotiate in good faith about doing so. If the City and the Contractor reach mutually agreeable terms, Contractor and the City will sign a mutually agreeable amendment.
Yard Waste Collection. Contractor shall collect yard waste placed at the curb by service units within the Designated Service area on a weekly basis, 37 weeks per year (April 1 through December 15). Collection of yard waste shall be coordinated with other collection services so that all occur on the same day of the week.
Yard Waste Collection. The Hauler shall provide subscription Yard Waste collection services to Residential Units on a weekly basis beginning the week of April 15th and ending the last full week of November (weather permitting) each year during the Term. Residents must contact the Hauler to set up Yard Waste service. All Acceptable Yard Waste Materials must be placed at the curb for collection no later than 7:00 A.M. on scheduled day of collection.
Yard Waste Collection. Contractor shall provide collection of grass and leaves to residential or commercial units as part of the regular scheduled pick-up. Grass and leaves shall be placed in acceptable container. Larger, unusual or more frequent loads may be collected and disposed of by Contractor at Resident's additional expense as identified by Contractor.
Yard Waste Collection. GreenWaste shall collect Yard Waste from only the Yard Waste Containers GreenWaste provided, as requested by the customer and placed for collection by the customer, not less than once every two (2) weeks.
