The Beeson Divinity School Supervised Ministry Practicum requirement is designed to give M.Div. students guided practical experience in a variety of ministry activities so they can apply what they are learning in class in the local church setting and gain more hands on practice that will prepare them for day to day ministry. To do this most effectively students are required to complete their practicums under the supervision of a qualified and committed ministry mentor. These mentors agree to minister alongside the students, guide them through their learning experiences, and invest time in them throughout the one-year practicum.
