This agreement (pursuant to section 38 para. 5 LHG – State Law of Baden-Württemberg on Higher Education) serves to provide support and advice to doctoral candidates in their doc- toral projects. The doctoral agreement does not grant any legally enforceable rights. The agreement is based on the current status of the project and may be amended over the course of the doctoral project upon mutual agreement between the doctoral candidate and the supervisor. The agreement is subject to the acceptance of the doctoral candidate by the faculty and supplements the respective doctoral degree regulations, and, where applicable, the regulations of the structured doctoral programme.
