This Agreement will become effective on June 1, 2017, and shall remain in effect thru May 31, 2020. Should either party desire to change or modify the Agreement written notice must be given to the other party sixty (60) days in advance of the expiration date. If such notice is not given within such time, the Agreement shall be considered as automatically renewed for an additional period of one (1) year, and in like manner from year to year thereafter. It is understood, however, that either party may give thirty (30) days notice to the other party of its desire to open the Agreement for discussion of certain provisions except those provisions having to do with wages, hours, working conditions and/or other cost items.
