Superintendent shall act as a liaison between the School District and the community and shall be responsible for a program of public relations and for creating and maintaining a wholesome and cooperative working relationship among the schools, its administrators, principals, teachers, staff and the community. Except as provided herein, Superintendent shall not engage in any other employment or business which interferes with the performance of her duties as Superintendent. Superintendent may participate in professional organizations for educators and hold office in such organizations and fulfill the duties incident thereupon, so long as such activities do not interfere with the performance of Superintendent's duties hereunder.
