recognize the community of interest between the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and the Union in promoting the utmost cooperation between the Corporation and its employees, consistent with the rights of both parties. It is further the intent of this Agreement to foster a friendly spirit which shall prevail at all times between the Corporation and the employees, and to this end this Agreement is signed in good faith by the two parties. The Agreement is therefore designed to set forth clearly the rates of pay hours of work and conditions of employment to be observed between the parties. It is further agreed that the Union and its members will fully support the Corporation in maintaining the highest quality and most effective programmes, ensuring value to the Canadian public is achieved.
