Hoffman-Struever Waterfront LLC (HSW) is fully committed to meeting its requirements under its executed First Source Agreement, and to work collaboratively with our partners in SW/Near Southeast DC, and the Workforce Development organizations in Wards 5, 7 and 8 to maximize job opportunities for residents in those Wards. Further, we will work collaboratively with the DC Housing Authority to assure maximum opportunities for Public Housing residents, particularly those residing in developments in the Southwest/Near Southeast and in Wards 5, 7 and 8. Further, we are committed to working with the DC Students Construction Trades Foundation, in partnership with our selected contractor and DOES on a pre- apprenticeship program. Finally, we have committed $1 million toward the establishment and operation of a District Workforce Intermediary Program that will connect DC residents seeking jobs with social service and jobs training organizations and with our contractor and subcontractors also to
