The ICECAP-O Instrument is a measure of capability for older people. It was developed in the UK using in-depth and semi-structured qualitative research with older people; values for the UK obtained using best-worst scaling in combination with discrete choice experiments are available. The instrument contains five attributes (attachment, role, enjoyment, security and control), each with four levels.
