This Expansion Lease, initially dated as of September 1, 1998, as amended and restated as herein provided, as of June 1, 2012 (as amended and restated, the “Expansion Lease”), is made by and between the SAN DIEGO UNIFIED PORT DISTRICT, a public body, corporate and politic, duly organized and existing under the laws of the State of California (the “District”), and the CONVENTION CENTER EXPANSION FINANCING AUTHORITY, a joint exercise of powers entity duly organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of California (the “Authority”).
