THIS PARTICIPATING AGREEMENT is hereby entered into by and between the USDA Forest Service,Pacific Southwest Region[UFS2], hereinafter referred to as the Forest Service, and the San Gorgonio Wilderness Association, hereinafter referred to as the Association, a not-for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of California[UFS3], acting through the Chairperson of its Board of Directors or the Board’s designee, under the provisions of the Cooperative Funds and Deposits Act of December 12, 1975, 16 U.S.C. 565a-1 – 565a-3, Public Law 94-148.
