LCH is (i) a recognised clearing house under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and is subject to oversight by the Bank of England; (ii) authorised as a central counterparty to offer services and activities in the Union in accordance with the European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR); and (ii) registered as a derivatives clearing organisation in the United States and subject to oversight by the United States’ Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Details about the extent of such oversight are available from LCH at the request of the Member.
