The coronavirus, requirements to self-isolate, and consequent business interruptions and shutdowns mean that we are no longer able to pay your normally. We want to keep you in employment and to continue to pay you as much as we can. The Government has announced a Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (“the Furlough Scheme”) where they will give us a grant to subsidise part of your pay if we put you on “furlough”. We can put you on this Scheme instead of sending you home unpaid or making you redundant if you agree to these terms.
