The Center for the Advancement of Teaching (CAT) and the Institutional Review Board (IRB) have formed an agreement for the CAT to serve as a proxy to review and approve research focused exclusively on Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) projects conducted at Temple University. The aim of this partnership is to provide a more streamlined process for IRB approval of small-scale, localized projects whose scope is limited to research on teaching and learning on Temple’s campuses. Please find below criteria and information to determine eligibility for this program, as well as the protocol and consent form you will need to submit to enable participation.
