Kitsap Humane Society (hereafter referred to as KHS) hereby agrees to temporarily board the above-identified pet(s) on behalf of the above-identified owner for a period of up to 45 days, unless KHS, at its sole discretion, agrees to ex- tend this agreement for another agreed-upon period of time, not to exceed 90 days. Upon expiration of the agreed upon period of time, Owner hereby forfeits ownership of the pet to KHS who shall permanently rehome the pet(s) .
