The House of Representatives enacts as follows: Short title. 1. This Law may be cited as the Registration and Regulation of the Sworn Translators Services Law of 2019. PART I INTERPRETATIVE PROVISIONS Interpretation. 2. In this Law unless the context otherwise requires: “Agreement on the European Economic Area” means the Agreement on the European Economic Area signed at Oporto on 2 May 1992, as amended from time to time; “Association” means the Association of Sworn Translators established under section 25; “certified translation” means a valid and accurate translation of a written text or document under the provisions of this Law from a foreign language into the Greek or Turkish language and vice-versa, as well as from the Greek into the Turkish language and vice-versa, on which the official seal of the Republic and the appropriate stamp duty are affixed; “Chairman” means the Chairman of the Council; “Council” means the Council of Registration of Sworn Translators established und
