Each year, players and parents are required to sign a player contract that spells out the major rules of the team and the expectations that coaches have toward their players. Players have more work, stress, and responsibility than most students at school. They are held to a higher standard by their peers, and are still expected to perform and behave by their teachers. There are two categories of rules that players are required to abide by: specific school rules and general team rules.
