Implementation Agreement for the 3GPP Mc InterfaceImplementation Agreement • April 11th, 2006
Contract Type FiledApril 11th, 2006[5] and further packages defined in the 3GPP specification itself (3GPP TS 29.232 [2]). The specification of the H.248.1 [3] Profile for the Mc interface has until recently been very open, making implementation options difficult to agree upon, and hence interoperability of core functions required for the successful running of the BICN has been almost impossible. Some work has taken place in 3GPP to restrict the options available for implementation, but due to the working practices of 3GPP, only changes that can be shown to correct a ‘Frequent and Serious Miss-operation’ are permitted. Therefore, to achieve an industry agreement on the implementation of the Mc interface to enhance interoperability, it is an Implementation Agreement has been completed in MSF. This document contains the Implementation Agreement as it stands, going into Straw Ballot approval.
