SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND SHELTER NETWORK THIS SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT, entered into this day of , 20 , by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, hereinafter called "County," and Shelter Network, hereinafter called "Contractor"; W I T N E S S E T H: WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 31000, County may contract with independent contractors for the furnishing of such services to or for County or any Department thereof; and WHEREAS, on February 10, 2009, the parties hereto under Agreement 61000-09-C215 entered into an agreement, (the “Original Agreement”), for the furnishing of shelter to qualifying offenders by Shelter Network to County, as set forth in that Agreement; and WHEREAS, on June 16, 2009, the under Resolution 070209 the Original Agreement was amended to increase funding in the amount of $72,500, for a new maximum obligation of$125,000, and to extend the term to January 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010; and WHEREAS, it is
