For the past 20 years, the district has partnered with Clear-Care Corporation, a Penn Highlands Healthcare Clearfield based subsidiary offering specialized occupational therapy services for students of need. Specific services provided include therapy evaluation, treatment planning consultations and treatment and adaptive device recommendations. Once an evaluation and IEP team determine that the student is in need of occupational therapy services, an occupational therapist from Clear-Care provides the IEP identified related services to the student in his/her school during school hours. By all accounts, the partnership has proven successful.
