Called the INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR, and the Peralta Community college District, 333 East Eighth Street, Oakland, CA 94606, hereinafter called the DISTRICT, for the performance of the services hereinafter described. The INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR agrees to perform the following SERVICES of the DISTRICT under the stated conditions within the limits set forth: BioTech Partners is a BCC partner in the grant "Expanding Equitable and Inclusive Access to Biotechnology Careers for Berkeley High School Graduates." BioTech Partners will complete the scope of work listed in Appendix 1 of the Sponsorship Agreement between BCC and Bayer Healthcare LLC dated as of 12/7/22 (the “Sponsorship Agreement”). BioTech Partners will comply with all of the terms applicable to it under the Sponsorship Agreement as a supplier of the services under that agreement. Pursuant to the Sponsorship Agreement, the sub-award to BioTech Partners for the second year is $56,554: $6,554 is the regular year 2 subgrant,
