For the purposes of this Agreement, the cardholder and additional cardholder(s) are collectively designated by the term “the cardholder”. If a Future Shop card (the “card”) is issued by Desjardins Financial Group (“Desjardins Group”) to the cardholder, when he signs the card bearing his name, activates or uses the card for the first time or authorizes its use by a third party, the cardholder accepts the cardholder Agreement (“the Agreement”) and any other accompanying documentation. The cardholder agrees to be liable for any indebtedness incurred through the use of the card, and if the cardholder is comprised of more than one person, each person, including any of their heir and assign, is jointly and severally liable. This acceptance also signifies the cardholder’s acknowledgment of the request for the issuance of a card, regardless of the form of signature used.
