In April 2017, Trinity Metro entered a three-year agreement and two optional one-year terms, with Allied Universal Services, under contract #17-010. The security services agreement provides security protection for Trinity Metro customers, employees, and physical assets. Services included are 24-hour site security at the Fort Worth Central and Texas & Pacific Commuter Rail Stations; security vehicle patrols of the TEX Rail and TRE remote rail stations; and off-duty police officers providing security protection on board the TEX Rail and TRE rail systems, as well as Fixed Bus mobile police response and monitoring of transfer centers. The security services contract expires on April 20, 2022.
