This Easement Agreement (this “Agreement”) is made effective as of the day of April, 2020 (the “Effective Date”), by and between the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, a body corporate and politic and a public instrumentality of the Commonwealth created and governed by Mass. Gen. Laws c. 6C, with a principal place of business at 10 Park Plaza, Boston, Massachusetts, 02116 (“Grantor”) and the City of Northampton, Massachusetts, a body politic and corporate and a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with a principal place of business at 210 Main Street, Northampton, MA (the “City” or the “Grantee”).
